Melanie Dekker is a Canadian roots-pop sensation with a 'voice like chocolate’. Her songs weave between emotion and sensibilities as they tug on your heart and leave you smiling. On March 2nd, 2018 ‘Secret Spot’ was fresh out of the gates, this is her 6th studio album. Her past CDs have some fabulous accolades: 'Distant Star' sold 12,000 copies on her own Elephant Ears Ent. label, and "Revealed' was produced by David Kershenbaum (Tracy Chapman, Joe Jackson). During the pandemic, Dekker created a full length 50’s style feel good Christmas album, and began a roaring 20’s project called Barnstormer, Dekker has radio hits and music syndicated on both film & TV, she tours 80 concerts per year, she’s been the support act for Bryan Adams, Diana Krall, Russell Peters, Edwin McCain, & Faith Hill and her string of popular youtube videos include the Polar Bear Swim, 2010 Olympics, her own tooth removal, Christmas concerts in Afghanistan, and a romantic run-in with a mannequin.
